Friendship is Magic

I'd like to tell you about a project we're unveiling at DAR.fm which will change radio by making it net friendly. Internally we call it Project Friendship. The internet has cultivated a short McNugget-size media appetite yet radio shows are still serving 7-course meals with one to three hour shows. Rarely does one see links to interesting radio bits on Facebook or Twitter. Project Friendship makes it possible to share clips.

As people listen to shows on DAR.fm they can click the Share button and select a short segment to share with others. The clip will be uploaded to YouTube along with a description they provide. For the first time it's as easy to share a radio clip as it is a web page, picture or video clip.

Hunting for the X-File Ghost

AI will soon rule the world. It will decide if you paid your taxes, qualify for a mortgage, whether your kid is admitted to university, if someone is eligible for parole, if you've been naughty on social media, etc. EVERYTHING. But what happens if it's WRONG? Here's an unbelievable and ominous situation where a cybersecurity company publishes a report stating an American company was part of a Chinese cybercriminal organization. The story spread around the world. One enormous problem: the software they claim as evidence doesn't exist, but nobody bothered to research it. No news site. No security companies. Nobody. Well, I decided to research it, and here's my results.
