More Clouds of Music - Why Use MP3tunes?

Several net giants have launched personal cloud music services this year. It's flattering to see others imitate our pioneering MP3tunes service. Here's my assessment of the various services.

Google Music only accepts MP3 files and doesn't allow you to download what you upload. Apple's iMatch focuses on syncing. Amazon does streaming with limited downloading. MP3tunes allows streaming, downloading and syncing since it stores all files at their native resolution.

Google Music, Apple and Amazon are available only to US users. MP3tunes is available worldwide. Each provider shows preference for their own devices; only MP3tunes works on any device because we believe in openness.

One epiphany we had: people listen to radio 5 times more than their personal music collection. MP3tunes works with DAR.fm — a service which records radio for listening anytime on any device.

Hunting for the X-File Ghost

AI will soon rule the world. It will decide if you paid your taxes, qualify for a mortgage, whether your kid is admitted to university, if someone is eligible for parole, if you've been naughty on social media, etc. EVERYTHING. But what happens if it's WRONG? Here's an unbelievable and ominous situation where a cybersecurity company publishes a report stating an American company was part of a Chinese cybercriminal organization. The story spread around the world. One enormous problem: the software they claim as evidence doesn't exist, but nobody bothered to research it. No news site. No security companies. Nobody. Well, I decided to research it, and here's my results.
