After a puzzling 3.5 month wait, Apple has finally approved Airband, an app for iPod touch and iPhone users to play music directly from their MP3tunes locker. Google fans will find a beta version of the first MP3tunes app in the Android marketplace. With both devices, your entire music library is just a couple of clicks away.
Notable features in both apps: Browse by artist, album or playlist. Stream music in user-definable quality (28k-192k). Access over 3G or wifi. Free application.
Both of these applications were built by MP3tunes users wanting to listen to their personal library in more places. Our vision at MP3tunes is to make your music available on all your devices. Mobile phones are increasingly becoming capable music players — these new applications expand our support alongside PCs, internet radios, and car devices.
