MP3tunes Files Counterclaims Against EMI (How You Can Help)

MP3tunes submitted a legal response in the lawsuit filed by EMI. We filed counter claims against EMI for engaging in unfair, unlawful and deceptive business practices.

EMI told the court (and the world) this lawsuit is about piracy when it's really about the labels' continued legal assault on new technologies. They've sued to stop portable MP3 players, search engines, video hosting, P2P services, hosted DVR, and many other technologies. Now they're attacking personal music lockers.

EMI is telling the court that no links in Sideload.com are authorized. But EMI is probably one of the most aggressive labels when it comes to MP3 promotion. They distribute files from their own sites, from music websites, and via CDN contracts with Akamai. We need your help to find examples of where EMI uses and promotes MP3s online. Hunting for the X-File Ghost

AI will soon rule the world. It will decide if you paid your taxes, qualify for a mortgage, whether your kid is admitted to university, if someone is eligible for parole, if you've been naughty on social media, etc. EVERYTHING. But what happens if it's WRONG? Here's an unbelievable and ominous situation where a cybersecurity company publishes a report stating an American company was part of a Chinese cybercriminal organization. The story spread around the world. One enormous problem: the software they claim as evidence doesn't exist, but nobody bothered to research it. No news site. No security companies. Nobody. Well, I decided to research it, and here's my results.
