The Linux Dilemma

There's no denying that Linux is sending disruptive waves through every segment of the technology business. I invited Clay Christensen to keynote this year's Desktop Linux Summit. The renowned author of 'The Innovator's Dilemma' will enlighten us about how to capitalize on this transition.

I was struck by how Christensen's lessons fit what I'm witnessing daily with Linux. Other keynote speakers include Jef Raskin (creator of the Apple Macintosh) and Doc Searls (co-author of 'The Cluetrain Manifesto').

The Summit is on April 22-23rd in Del Mar, California. Tickets are just $50 for complete access to this two-day event, including food and a goodie bag. I hope to see you there!

Hunting for the X-File Ghost

AI will soon rule the world. It will decide if you paid your taxes, qualify for a mortgage, whether your kid is admitted to university, if someone is eligible for parole, if you've been naughty on social media, etc. EVERYTHING. But what happens if it's WRONG? Here's an unbelievable and ominous situation where a cybersecurity company publishes a report stating an American company was part of a Chinese cybercriminal organization. The story spread around the world. One enormous problem: the software they claim as evidence doesn't exist, but nobody bothered to research it. No news site. No security companies. Nobody. Well, I decided to research it, and here's my results.
