Our Sneak Preview is no longer vaporware

Not too many months ago, I sat around my father-in-law's lucky table and hatched the plan for Lindows.com. Microsoft has destroyed countless companies who embarked on similar missions, but I was in a fortunate situation to bring together a team whose mission was to bring choice back to computer users.

Naturally, as the plans became public, we were labeled 'vaporware.' All of that changed last week with the release of our Sneak Preview to a small group of Insiders. One Insider wrote: 'The Lindows install went very smoothly. My grandma would have been able to do it. GREAT JOB!'

Key features: 1) Easy installation — Microsoft Windows 98 users can simply double-click a file and 10 minutes later they're running LindowsOS alongside their existing OS. 2) Migration of important data — bookmarks, icons, and email are moved automatically. 3) Run Windows-based business programs — Office 2000, Lotus Notes, and other business tools.

Hunting for the X-File Ghost

AI will soon rule the world. It will decide if you paid your taxes, qualify for a mortgage, whether your kid is admitted to university, if someone is eligible for parole, if you've been naughty on social media, etc. EVERYTHING. But what happens if it's WRONG? Here's an unbelievable and ominous situation where a cybersecurity company publishes a report stating an American company was part of a Chinese cybercriminal organization. The story spread around the world. One enormous problem: the software they claim as evidence doesn't exist, but nobody bothered to research it. No news site. No security companies. Nobody. Well, I decided to research it, and here's my results.
