Our 30 employees are hard at work readying a new version of Sneak Preview. LindowsOS Sneak Preview 2 will include: the ability to open all Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents with just one click; big performance and compatibility improvements; a streamlined experience for adding software programs; and many more applications in the Click-N-Run Warehouse.
SP2 still won't be quite ready for use as your daily desktop, but it has taken huge strides from the first version. In fact, those who want to learn more about Linux but have been frightened by complexity will want to get SP2 — there's no easier way to try Linux. You can install it right alongside an existing Windows 98 system with no special knowledge required.
