No More White Box Blues

55% of computers sold worldwide are not sold by the major corporations you see ads for on TV, but by thousands of small 'white box' companies. Many have never worked with Linux before and are looking for a good place to start.

Today we're announcing a program that makes it easy and affordable for these small computer companies to begin selling LindowsOS computers. For just $100 a year, anyone who sells computers can get a suite of tools and a license to ship LindowsLite on every computer for just $100 a year. This means 'white box' shops can sell desktop Linux machines for at least $100 less per computer than similarly equipped Windows XP machines.

Hunting for the X-File Ghost

AI will soon rule the world. It will decide if you paid your taxes, qualify for a mortgage, whether your kid is admitted to university, if someone is eligible for parole, if you've been naughty on social media, etc. EVERYTHING. But what happens if it's WRONG? Here's an unbelievable and ominous situation where a cybersecurity company publishes a report stating an American company was part of a Chinese cybercriminal organization. The story spread around the world. One enormous problem: the software they claim as evidence doesn't exist, but nobody bothered to research it. No news site. No security companies. Nobody. Well, I decided to research it, and here's my results.
