Hard at work ... Sneak Preview 2

Sorry you haven't heard much from us over the last few weeks. Our 30 employees are hard at work readying a new version of Sneak Preview which will have a host of new features and a couple of surprises.

Our goal is to build an easy-to-use, stable operating system at one-third the cost of Microsoft. Large feature improvements you've told us are critically important: being able to open all Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents with just one click. Also expect big performance and compatibility improvements and a streamlined experience for adding software.

Sneak Preview 2 still won't be ready for use as your daily desktop, but it has taken huge strides. We're expecting a ruling from a judge on our name 'Lindows.com' any day. Rest assured, we're committed to bringing CHOICE back to the PC.

Hunting for the X-File Ghost

AI will soon rule the world. It will decide if you paid your taxes, qualify for a mortgage, whether your kid is admitted to university, if someone is eligible for parole, if you've been naughty on social media, etc. EVERYTHING. But what happens if it's WRONG? Here's an unbelievable and ominous situation where a cybersecurity company publishes a report stating an American company was part of a Chinese cybercriminal organization. The story spread around the world. One enormous problem: the software they claim as evidence doesn't exist, but nobody bothered to research it. No news site. No security companies. Nobody. Well, I decided to research it, and here's my results.
