Microsoft Loses Courtroom Battle Over Windows Trademark

Late Friday afternoon (March 15th), we received the judge's ruling on Microsoft's preliminary injunction. Microsoft was denied in their early attempt to prevent us from using our name. In his opinion letter, agreeing with our assertions all along, the judge wrote:

'Lindows.com has presented sufficient evidence to rebut the presumption of validity of the Windows mark.'

We are very happy that the court ruled solidly in our favor, but we realize that more battles lie ahead. This victory is shared by each of you for your early support, as so many of you helped when called upon to provide information which ended up being very important to our case.

Hunting for the X-File Ghost

AI will soon rule the world. It will decide if you paid your taxes, qualify for a mortgage, whether your kid is admitted to university, if someone is eligible for parole, if you've been naughty on social media, etc. EVERYTHING. But what happens if it's WRONG? Here's an unbelievable and ominous situation where a cybersecurity company publishes a report stating an American company was part of a Chinese cybercriminal organization. The story spread around the world. One enormous problem: the software they claim as evidence doesn't exist, but nobody bothered to research it. No news site. No security companies. Nobody. Well, I decided to research it, and here's my results.
